In today’s digital environment, Garden City Teachers Federal Credit Union is committed to protecting your personal information. Therefore, when sending any electronic document that contains sensitive and personal information (i.e. social security #, account #, driver’s license #, etc.), we request that our members use our LeapFILE Secure File Exchange. All transfers of documents are confidential and SSL encrypted through LeapFILE due to the implementation of several layers of security to ensure confidentiality and reliability during the file transfer process.

Sending Secure File(s) Instructions:

  1. Go to Garden City Teachers Federal Credit Union’s secure file exchange site, https://gctcu.leapfile.net.
  2. Select “Secure Upload.”
  3. Fill in the Name and Email and click the “Continue” button.
  4. Enter your verification code and click the “Verify code” button. This is a one-time procedure for security purposes. Once verified, you will be able to upload additional files in the future without verifying again.
  5. Select from the list of available recipients to transfer a file to and click the “Continue” button.
  6. Fill in the Subject and Message/ Instructions fields as appropriate.
  7. Select the “Upload” button.
  8. Select the “Select Files” or “Select Folder” button to upload which file(s) you wish to transfer and click the “Open” button.
  9. Once selected, click the “Send” button.
  10. Once your file(s) are uploaded you will receive a message of “Success!”

Note: The subject line and body of the message are not encrypted. Help us protect your personal information by never including personal information within the subject line or body of your email.
